Gibson, with Jordan Bisch (another L. A. Opera debut), were respectively the FIrst and Second Armed Men. Others in the adult cast were Hak Koo Kim as the First Priest, Daniel Armstrong as the Second Priest and Robert Hovencamp as the Third Priest. The Three Boys in the matinee performance were Josiah Yiu, Gregory Sliskovich, and Justus Bradshaw.

Sunday December 27, 2009 matinee - Is there a name for the phenomenon of stars shining during broad daylight? That's what happened at today's NUTCRACKER matinee at New York City Ballet where the casting included four top principals: Wendy Whelan, Philip Neal, Ashley Bouder and Teresa Reichlen.
Everything Is New is the second album from British singer-songwriter Jack Peñate. It was released on 22 June 2009 on XL Recordings. It received much more favourable reviews than his debut Matinée.

Fairfield University's student performing group, Theatre Fairfield, ends the year 2009 with "A Class Act," a series of original and favorite pieces of theatre devised, written, created and produced by students. "A Class Act" plays Thursday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Performances are at the PepsiCo Theatre on the Fairfield University campus. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $6 for seniors and University staff and $5 for all students. This event is a part of the University's 2009-2010 Arts & Minds series of events.
In addition to the four performances for the community, the cast will offer three matinees specifically for students from Appleton East, North and West high schools, The Academy charter school and Marian College.
At its June 2009 commencement ceremonies, Lawrence honored McGlynn with its Award for Excellence in Creative Activity, which recognizes outstanding creative work.
